Setting up VoIP

1.Check in Unifi if you’re able to see the switch. If yes, find the Gigaset IP and log in into it by entering the IP in the new Tab in your Browser.

  1. The first thing you should check is updating the firmware by doing the following:
  • Enter the PIN code to enter the Gigaset Configuration ( 1212 or 0000 )
  • Click OK
  • Settings
  • Management
  • Firmware Update -> Update firmware and then wait

 

2.Register a Phone/User by navigating to the Telephony -> Connections



*When registering a Phone/User it's very important to check the Handsets and apply the needed Phone/User to it. Depending on the Client needs, in this case specifically, we have 2 Handsets ( INT1 , INT2 with extension 1001) applied to one User, so whenever someone calls that number with extension 1001, both phones will ring simultaneously.
